Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Hollis, NH, is seeking a Production Manager to own manufacturing floor performance across shifts in a fast-paced, custom thin film job shop. The role requires translating the monthly plan into daily execution, balancing capacity, schedule, and customer delivery.

You will lead production Supervisors, drive Lean initiatives, maintain safety and quality, and partner with Planning, Quality, and Engineering to improve efficiency and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management or related field preferred.
• Seven+ years of manufacturing experience with at least three years leading supervisors.
• Experience in high-mix/low-volume, thin-film, semiconductor environments preferred.
• Strong Lean, quality, safety and financial performance track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production execution and translate the approved monthly plan into clear daily and weekly priorities by work center, shift, and supervisor.
• Manage schedule, capacity, and flow with executable plans for product mix, staffing, material readiness, and equipment availability.
• Identify and address factory constraints to maximize output and coordinate labor, material, and equipment.
• Ensure safe and compliant operations with EHS requirements and ISO certifications.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring yield, scrap, rework, and audit findings.
• Develop the production organization through coaching, succession planning, and shift coverage.
• Improve profitability and operating performance using Lean methods and production data.
