Job summary

Logoplaste in Illinois is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production floor operations, manage equipment and personnel in a hands-on leadership role. The position requires coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet production targets and maintain safety standards.

You will implement SOPs, monitor quality, drive efficiency, and determine improvements to processes while aligning with company policies and goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related management experience in manufacturing environment.
• Industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• SAP experience.
• Logistics background preferred.
• Able to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends based on business demand.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, quality systems and standards.
• Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including health and safety.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure on-time delivery.
• Enforce quality standards and conduct quality control.
• Manage inventory and optimize production costs.
• Coordinate with operations, purchasing, engineering and quality teams.
• Supervise a multi-skilled team and address training needs.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed and housekeeping maintained.
• Plan maintenance activities and equipment procurement decisions.
• Review performance and allocate labor hours accordingly.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for operations.
