Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Materials position in Allentown, PA. The role focuses on monitoring production orders and ensuring accurate inventory control to support cost-effective operations.

Candidates will reconcile discrepancies, use SAP and ERP tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Minimum HS diploma and relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 2+ years’ experience with materials, accounting, inventory or production systems preferably in a manufacturing, military or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production orders and inventory to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile inventory and troubleshoot issues with cross-functional teams.
• Review and correct production transactions to support accurate costing and efficiency.
• Coach and train team members on inventory processes and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot production floor issues related to inventory, materials, and system errors.
• Use SAP and other systems to identify and resolve inventory and material-handling issues.
• Partner with production management to address process failures and develop solutions.
