Qualifications

• B.E. Chemical or M.Sc. in Chemistry required.
• 12–18 years in API plant with cGMP and FDA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate a production plant and ensure on-time production.
• Meet plan quality and cost parameters.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and water usage.
• Maintain relevant process, regulatory and engineering documents.
• Follow approved SOPs for production activities.
• Issue Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Equipment Cleaning Records (ECR).
• Perform SAP, TrackWise CAPA, LMS & DCM activities.
• Prepare/review SOPs.
• Prepare risk assessments and re-assessments.
• Review trends of quality and production parameters.
• Ensure calibrations and records are maintained.
• Ensure timely maintenance of equipment and facility.
• Ensure compliance to cGMPs and safety procedures.
• Train and develop subordinates; foster learning.
• Maintain discipline and harmonious relations.
• Ensure plant readiness for inspections.
