Job summary
Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business seeks an engineer for infrastructure and technology operations, focusing on production support for systematic trading platforms and deployments. Qualifications
- Experience managing complex deployments and environments.
- Experience supporting applications in a Linux environment.
- Understanding of monitoring and incident management, with experience using Elastic, ServiceNow or Jira ITSM.
- ITIL certification or equivalent incident management trading.
- Understanding of FIX protocol.
- 8+ years of experience in the financial services supporting trading & post trade systems.
- A degree in Computer Science or related subject.
Responsibilities
- Provide front line support for systematic trading platforms
- Ensure reliability, maintainability and performance of production environment
- Serve as first point of contact for production issues, support requests and alerts
- Investigate and solve issues and outages as they occur, escalating if necessary
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure successful deployment of new code into production
