Senior Production Coordinator: Motion Capture

The writing team at Rockstar New York is seeking an ambitious Senior Production Coordinator who will manage the motion capture writing workflow. Both passionate and meticulous, this person will be ready to hit the ground running in a high-stakes environment. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

WHAT WE DO
  • We help to produce and track hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue across multiple projects.
  • We support a global creative team working on ground-breaking interactive narratives.
  • We collaborate across departments to coordinate dialogue requirements.
  • We help to ensure that dialogue is written and recorded to project deadlines.
  • We help to ensure that dialogue and related animations are implemented and tested to the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with Mission Design teams to prepare content for writing and brief Writers with relevant materials.
  • Work closely with Writers, Mission Designers, and Animators to drive the dialogue review process.
  • Ensure all stakeholders’ feedback is addressed and that scripts are prepared and presented with high quality control leading up to script readthrough meetings and through to capture.
  • Evaluate scripts to extract character requirements for the Casting and Character Art teams, and disseminate information through the proper channels.
  • Rigorously maintain character, asset, and scene trackers.
  • Monitor and track dialogue edits, ensuring all are implemented on deadline for the Motion Capture Production team before a mocap shoot begins.
  • Respond to questions and issues raised by the Performance Production team to support the successful capture of content.
  • Ensure meetings are properly documented and actioned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-7 years project management or production experience, particularly in high-stakes entertainment production environments.
  • An interest in Rockstar, video games, and their development.
SKILLS
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization.
  • Comfortable with managing a high volume of large scripts under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable to changes in scope and process.
  • Must be able to work fast while still being ultraprecise and rigorous about quality control.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Someone who is technically-minded but also a strong producer.
  • Must be someone who is conscientious, calm under pressure, and works with fastidious care.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,700 - $101,200 USD per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
