AeroVironment is seeking a Production Control Clerk to handle clerical tasks in the production control function and oversee work orders released to Production and goods moving between Production and Flight Team.

The role involves coordinating shortages, updating the rework board, expediting parts, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Training travel to Simi Valley, CA is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2 years in a production environment.
• Experience with material planning and work orders is required.
• Knowledge of computerized MRP systems is critical.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• APICS training/desirable for inventory control and planning.

Responsabilités

• Execute material repair orders to move product between SMRB and repair cell.
• Coordinate shortages with Purchasing, Quality and Production Planners.
• Update and prioritize the rework board with production planners.
• Monitor and expedite shortage parts from inspection to work orders.
• Assist production leads in moving urgent product between cells or stockroom.
• Issue items to work orders in the sell-off area.
• Notify planners of rejections or shortages in production builds.
• Work with Quality to prevent excess SMRB inventory.
• Follow procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
