Job summary

IPolarity in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Production Support Engineer / Application Support Analyst to monitor production applications, dashboards and service health, and to perform incident triage and resolution.

The role requires strong Java and Spring Boot, SQL/PL-SQL, microservices, Kafka, and AWS expertise, plus collaboration with development, infrastructure, and business teams to restore services quickly.

Qualifications

10–12 years of production or application support experience.
Proficient in Java with Spring Boot and microservices.
Experience with SQL/PL-SQL and batch job monitoring.
Kafka familiarity and AWS-based support.
Strong incident management, RCA, and runbook maintenance.

Responsibilities

Monitor production applications, dashboards, system health and service availability.
Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, escalation and resolution.
Debug issues with Java logs, stack traces and SQL/PL-SQL queries.
Monitor batch jobs, reruns and validate processing results.
Support Java-based apps, Spring Boot services, microservices and Kafka.
Collaborate with development, infra, database and business teams to restore services.
Support AWS-hosted applications and monitor metrics and alerts.
Maintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles and post-incident reports.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
