Job summary

Leadout Capital is seeking a senior, hands-on IC builder to design, deploy, and operate production-grade agentic AI solutions at customer sites. You will work directly with a Director in a two-person pod to ship high-impact AI systems, owning architecture and delivery end-to-end.

You will own data pipelines, integrations, and production infrastructure, enabling rapid prototyping to production handoff while traveling ~25% to client sites. Strong Python/JS/Java/Apex and LLM experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of software engineering, AI delivery, or technical consulting with hands-on ownership of production systems.
• Proven track record shipping production software—not prototypes or demos.
• Hands-on LLM integration experience: agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent).
• Fluency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Deep experience in data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving customer environments with delivery accountability.
• Strong communication skills to engage technical stakeholders and explain architecture decisions.
• Ability to operate as the sole builder in a small, high-trust pod.
• Willingness to travel ~25% of the time, at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy production-grade agentic AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and implement AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, and integration patterns for enterprise environments.
• Own data pipelines, system integrations, and production AI infrastructure across Salesforce and customer platforms.
• Prototype rapidly from ambiguous requirements and engineer for production.
• Resolve complex blockers in data integration, orchestration, and model deployment.
• Drive solutions from first commit to production handoff and customer consumption.
• Operate as the technical execution half of a 2-person pod with the Director.
• Translate strategy into concrete technical decisions and daily progress.
• Communicate blockers and risks early to keep the pod aligned.
• Represent depth in customer-facing sessions and demos.
• Surface patterns and opportunities to product teams.
