Position Summary:


Granite Telecommunications is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Trainer to lead the design, development, and delivery of training programs that equip our teammates with the knowledge and confidence to drive product adoption, customer success, and revenue growth. This role will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, and Operations to ensure teammates across the company are aligned on product capabilities, use cases, competitive positioning, and rollout strategies. The ideal candidate will also have experience delivering technical product training and certification prep on a range of partner solutions, including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, and other network and security platforms that are critical to Granite's service offerings.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design and deliver engaging product training sessions for Sales, Support, and Implementation teams, with a focus on new launches and feature updates.

  • Deliver certification programs and technical enablement on partner technologies (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper), helping teammates earn and maintain relevant credentials.

  • Develop a library of scalable training materials including LMS courses, interactive demos, knowledge articles, and microlearning assets.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and SMEs to understand roadmap developments and translate technical features into user-focused benefits.

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging around value propositions and competitive differentiators.

  • Track training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, adoption metrics, and teammate performance; iterate content as needed.

  • Serve as the voice of the learner during product launches, advocating for clarity, usability, and enablement.

  • Lead product certification programs and onboarding pathways for new teammates.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to other trainers or facilitators.


Qualifications



  • 8+ years of experience in product training, sales enablement, or a related learning & development role, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector.

  • Proven experience developing and delivering training on technical partner solutions such as Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and Juniper.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methodologies (in-person, virtual, and on-demand).

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, digestible content for diverse audiences.

  • Experience using LMS platforms, authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, etc.), and video editing tools.

  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a natural curiosity for learning and teaching.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Communications, Education, or related field.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Familiarity with Granite's product suite, including voice, data, wireless, and managed services.

  • Certification in one or more partner technologies (e.g., Cisco Meraki CMNA, Fortinet NSE, Juniper JNCIA or higher).

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar enterprise systems.

  • Background in Sales or Product Management a plus.
