Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr Product TPM in the AIS-SC group to lead cross-functional efforts across manufacturing operations for new product releases. You will drive capacity, feasibility, and risk mitigation with R&D, ODM, and suppliers to ensure on-time factory readiness.

You will partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to implement scalable manufacturing solutions and cost improvements, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years experience managing hardware product development and new product introduction with global manufacturing scale.
• Experience on server/network/storage product test development and implementation.
• Experience managing manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain enablement, operation process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team to deliver AWS roadmap and achieve manufacturing operation readiness for new product release in global locations.
• Drive manufacturing capability and capacity enablement strategy for new product development from concept phase.
• Work with R&D and ODM to manage new product/ technology deployment risk.
• Plan ahead and enable manufacturing infrastructure for NPI release (automation, assembly, test).
• Drive DFx for manufacturability, quality, serviceability and cost improvements.
• Define integration strategy for cost-effective and reliable supply chain setup.
• Manage supply chain readiness through extended team and critical commodity readiness.
• Ensure seamless teamwork among AWS, ODM and CMs on NPI program details to achieve Factory Readiness Complete on time.
