Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Executive Director, Product Strategy Lead to spearhead integrated product strategies for a therapeutic indication in the US, reporting to the General Manager. The role involves leadership across Marketing, Sales, Patient Support, Market Access, Insights, and Medical, with responsibility for budgeting and resource allocation across multiple teams and functions.

The successful candidate will drive strategic decisions, optimize lifecycle plans, and ensure customer engagement

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or healthcare consulting with cross-functional roles
• 3+ years managing large budgets and owning key product trade-off decisions
• 3+ years leading integrated product strategy requiring global and local alignment
• US market experience or GM experience in other countries

Responsibilities

• Define integrated priorities and KPIs for assigned product/indication with cross-functional team
• Measure and act on KPIs to raise product impact
• Contribute to product/indication P&L while enabling other functions to manage resources
• Influence topline results through strategic choices and portfolio decisions
• Coordinate cross-functional resource allocation to deliver maximum impact
• Manage KPI governance across functions for integrated strategy
• Partner with functional heads for trade-off decisions
• Collaborate with other GMs and Strategy team for enterprise decisions
