Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a product solutions specialist to partner with sales, demonstrate product capabilities, and create sales opportunities. This role requires operating a company or personal vehicle and traveling more than 20% of the week, with an MVR check on selection.

The candidate will deliver detailed product demonstrations, prepare quotations, and support retrofit projects while building vendor and customer relationships. Travel >50% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline is typically required.
• 5–8 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Some areas require certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical product expertise to customers and sales reps.
• Conduct detailed product demonstrations and support pre-sale activities.
• Prepare and provide quotations for retrofit projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers; liaison from category management to field.
• Train sales staff on product familiarity and new product developments.
