Job Title:Senior Product Specialist – California Insurance Policy Domain
Location:Remote (U.S.)
Duration:Multi-Year Engagement

Yoh is looking foran experienced Senior Product Specialistwith deep expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, specifically across standard policy-related products such as Policy Administration, Billing, Audit, Submission, Quoting, CRM, and Customer Data Platforms. This role supports a large-scale modernization program focused on retiring legacy systems and advancing digital insurance product capabilities.

Role SummaryThe Senior Product Specialist will lead the strategic development and enhancement of policy-centric products, driving change across regulatory compliance, legacy platform retirement, and digital transformation. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, this role ensures delivery of high-impact, value-driven product changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
  
  
• Develop detailed product change requirements, including use cases and impact analysis.
  
  
• Translate business needs into actionable technical deliverables in collaboration with dev and QA teams.
  
  
• Lead and document stakeholder analysis at both product and project levels.
  
  
• Identify opportunities for innovation, process efficiency, and customer experience improvements.
  
  
• Facilitate and attend requirements elicitation sessions; resolve issues and roadblocks.
  
  
• Manage readiness assessments, identify resourcing constraints, and track status across all products.
  
  
• Support UAT through weekly progress reviews and coordination of testing efforts.
  
  
• Partner with Change Management for successful product rollouts.
  
  
• Conduct monthly release checkpoints with business teams to ensure alignment on testing, defect resolution, and deployment planning.
  
  
• Produce and maintain real-time status reports for assigned products.
  
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, CX, IT, QA, digital teams, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Specialist, Product Owner, or similar role in P&C insurance.
  
  
• Strong background in Policy Administration and adjacent domains (Billing, Quoting, CRM, etc.).
  
  
• Proven ability to document and lead product change initiatives from scope through implementation.
  
  
• Experience working in environments transitioning from legacy systems to modern platforms.
  
  
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  
  
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a track record of delivering on complex initiatives.
  
  

Estimated Min Rate: $63.00
Estimated Max Rate: $90.00
