Harvey is building AI-native software for professional services. As Lead on our Product Security team, you'll shape the roadmap, mentor engineers, and own defined areas of our production surface to keep customer data safe.

Reporting to Senior Director of Product Security, you will partner with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure to translate security strategy into actionable priorities, build secure-by-default patterns, and raise our security bar as we scale.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Product Security or Application Security engineers at a growing technology company.
• A strong engineering background with deep expertise in modern application security and cloud-native architectures.
• A track record of delivering security improvements through engineering, automation, and close partnership with development teams.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing security engineers, with a focus on technical growth and clear ownership.

• Translate the broader security strategy into focused priorities and measurable outcomes for your team.
• Hire, develop, and lead Product Security Engineers, establishing clear ownership and helping them become trusted partners to their engineering counterparts.
• Align security investments with business priorities and the technical realities of our platform.
• Own your team's planning, prioritization, and delivery.
• Provide technical direction on architecture reviews, threat modeling, and remediation.
• Scale the team's impact through automation, developer tooling, and secure-by-default patterns.
• Communicate risks and progress to engineering leaders, build alignment on priorities, and hold the team accountable for meaningful improvements to Harvey's security.
