Hyperscience is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to shape security in a cutting-edge AI-powered platform. You’ll partner with developers, review features before release, and design automated defenses to protect cloud infrastructure.

You will implement a software assurance program, perform threat modeling, and drive security through the development lifecycle with hands-on technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on coding ability in Python and shell scripting to build security automation and tooling.
• 6+ years of Application Security experience in a SaaS environment.
• Practical ability to identify and exploit common security flaws in web apps and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience deploying and hardening containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and mature a software security program embedded in the development lifecycle.
• Perform threat modeling and provide actionable guidance to engineering teams.
• Triage security inquiries, conduct manual code reviews, and advise on remediation.
• Design and deploy automated security controls using open-source tools for cloud platform defense.
• Lead internal security training and promote a security-first culture.
