Hyperscience is building a new class of enterprise software that reads and understands the world\'s documents. As a Senior Product Security Engineer, you will be the cornerstone of our product security efforts, safeguarding the machine-learning-powered platform that our customers trust.

This role blends hands-on security work with strategic leadership, partnering with developers to review features, implement defenses, and shape our secure-by-design culture across the engineering org.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Product Security experience in SaaS environments.
• Strong hands-on coding in Python and shell scripting for security automation.
• Offensive security skills to identify and exploit flaws in web apps and RESTful APIs.
• Cloud and container experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Structured problem-solving with strong communication and ownership.
• AI tools and techniques to optimize security workflows.

Responsibilities

• Product Security Strategy: embed security early in the SDLC and mature a software assurance model.
• Security Design Reviews: threat modeling and governance for new features.
• Vulnerability Management: triage inquiries and guide remediation with engineering.
• Automated Defenses: build automated controls to detect and respond to attacks on cloud platform.
• Security Knowledge Share: run internal training and workshops on best practices.
