Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Security Engineering lead to protect our AI systems. You will build identity and secret management for multi-cloud environments, reinforce RBAC-based controls, and design secure development frameworks that make secure coding the default.

You will harden CI/CD pipelines and drive threat modeling and remediation across teams. The role emphasizes hands-on security engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to AI safety.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience implementing security-relevant systems in production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in Python or a systems language such as Go or Rust.
• Experience contributing to cloud security controls.
• A track record of owning problems end to end, from issue to fix.
• Clear communication and collaboration across engineering teams.
• Interest in AI safety and trustworthy systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain identity and secrets management systems across multi-clouds.
• Contribute to cluster security controls including RBAC and namespace isolation.
• Design and implement cloud security controls across multi-cloud and on-prem.
• Develop secure development frameworks and service authentication tooling.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines against supply chain attacks with automated policy enforcement.
• Identify gaps via code review, threat modeling, and hands-on debugging.
• Advance continuous cloud security posture management with IaC scanning and remediation.
