Job summary

Datavant, a data collaboration platform for healthcare, seeks a Sr Product Security Architect to shape security across its product portfolio. Lead secure architecture reviews, drive threat modeling, and guide risk mitigation with engineering, product leadership, and compliance.

Deliver actionable security guidance enabling teams to move faster while maintaining strong protection. You will own security reviews, drive new security initiatives, and prioritize requests for architecture,

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in multiple programming languages.
Strong command of application and cloud security.
Understand security controls in audit standards and practical use.
Delivery-focused with fast-paced environment experience.
6+ years in architectural and threat modeling reviews.
6+ years with compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI, FedRAMP helpful).
Proficiency with AI tooling to optimize workflows.
Knowledge of AI platforms, Model Context Protocol, and Model Gateways.

Responsibilities

Review projects with secure code reviews and architectural feedback to development teams.
Own and conduct security/threat model reviews and provide security architecture guidance.
Lead new projects advancing security and collaborate to ensure project success.
Support quarterly planning with prioritization of security requests (architecture, remediation, compliance).
Document security controls and processes to enable faster, clearer development.
