Datavant is seeking a Senior Product Security Architect to shape the security posture of our applications. You will lead secure architecture reviews, guide risk mitigation, and translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, partnering with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

You will drive threat modeling, manage security projects, and set prioritization in planning. You’ll craft clear security documentation that enables fast delivery while maintaining rigorous standards

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing in multiple programming languages.
• Deep understanding of application and cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of security controls and compliance standards.
• Ability to balance ideal security with legacy constraints.
• Delivery-focused with fast-paced environment adaptability.
• 6+ years in architectural and threat modeling reviews.
• 6+ years with compliance standards.
• Proficiency using AI tooling to optimize workflows.
• Knowledge of AI platforms and Model Context Protocol.

Responsibilities

• Review projects with secure code reviews and architecture understanding.
• Own security/threat model reviews and related topics.
• Lead new projects to advance security; be a core contributor.
• Facilitate quarterly planning with strategic prioritization of security requests.
• Write clear security processes and enable faster development with clarity.
