Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Sr Product Security Architect to shape the security posture of our products. You will lead secure architecture reviews and guide risk mitigation, working closely with engineering, product leadership, and compliance teams.

You will own security projects, perform threat modeling, and help translate regulatory requirements into practical technical controls, enabling rapid, safe product delivery in a fast-paced health-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing in multiple programming languages.
• Deep understanding of Application and Cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of security controls and compliance.
• Ability to balance security with legacy systems.
• Delivery-focused, fast-paced partner to engineering.
• 6+ years in architectural and threat modeling.
• 6+ years with compliance standards.
• Experience with AI tooling to optimize workflows.
• Knowledge of AI platforms and Model Context Protocol.

Responsibilities

• Review projects with secure code reviews and architecture understanding.
• Conduct security/threat model reviews.
• Own new security projects and drive success.
• Support quarterly planning with priority security requests.
