Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing in multiple programming languages and comfortably adapting to new technologies.
• Deep understanding of Application and Cloud security to provide architectural reviews and guidance.
• Strong knowledge of security controls from audit standards and practical controls to reduce risk in dev environments (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to balance ideal security with practical constraints when securing legacy systems.
• Delivery-focused mindset to be a partner, not a blocker, for fast-paced engineering teams.
• 6+ years in architectural and threat modeling reviews; 6+ years with compliance standards.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tooling to optimize workflows; familiarity with AI platforms and MCP/Gateways.

• Review projects with development teams, conducting secure code reviews and architectural assessments.
• Own and conduct security/threat model reviews and provide expertise on security architecture topics.
• Lead new security initiatives and drive cross-team collaboration to ensure project success.
