Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Sr Product Security Architect to shape the security posture of our products. You will lead secure architecture reviews across Datavant’s applications, partner with engineering, product leaders, and compliance to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls.

You will own security reviews, drive risk mitigation, and influence project success as a core technical contributor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

6+ years in architectural and threat modeling review areas.
6+ years with compliance standards and applying them in practice.
Hands-on development experience across multiple programming languages.
Strong understanding of application and cloud security.
Familiarity with security controls in audit standards and practical implementations.
Ability to balance ideal security with practical needs for legacy systems.

Responsibilities

Review projects with secure code reviews and architectural feedback to development teams.
Own and conduct security/threat model reviews and advise on architecture topics.
Lead new projects for advancing security across our environment and mentor teams.
Facilitate quarterly planning with strategic prioritization of security requests.
Develop actionable security processes that enable faster, clearer engineering delivery.
