Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Security Architect to own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design through production operation. You will collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.

You will build threat models for agent risks, help ship secure software quickly, and guide security processes and culture while working with sandbox teams on how Bits Code handles untrusted workloads.

Qualifications

• You have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or at least 5+ years of professional security experience.
• Background in product security, application security, or security architecture.
• Experience securing systems across complex trust boundaries and scales.

Responsibilities

• Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design through production.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.
• Build threat models for new and existing agent risks (e.g., prompt injection).
• Help ship secure software quickly by maintaining core libraries and guiding processes.
• Work with sandbox teams on how Bits Code executes untrusted workloads.
• Be on call; Datadog builds it and runs it.
