Job summary

Finite State is seeking a Senior Product Security Consultant to lead advisory engagements for regulatory programs across automotive, IoT, industrial, and healthcare sectors. You’ll translate complex standards into practical product requirements and guide executive stakeholders.

You’ll act as the client’s virtual Chief Product Security Officer on select accounts, shape secure development lifecycles, and produce deliverables that executives can act on.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience including 5+ years in consulting or advisory work at a professional services firm.
• Experience with cybersecurity programs and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read regulations and translate into product requirements.
• Experience communicating with executives and leading client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory engagements end to end, scoping, milestones, and delivery.
• Frame regulatory programs for EU CRA, CE RED (EN 18031), FDA 524B, and FCC Cyber Trust Mark.
• Deliver security and regulatory assessments with prioritized recommendations.
• Serve as the named vCPSO on client accounts and lead product security cadence.
• Design secure development lifecycle programs with policy, governance, and training.
• Write deliverables executives can act on and engineers can defend.
• Turn technical findings into regulatory and business terms with stakeholders.
• Scope bootcamps and support sellers; build reusable assets for faster engagements.
• Contribute to Finite State’s public voice through writing and speaking.
