Brooks Automation in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a Product Safety Engineer II to support the development of semiconductor manufacturing solutions, including precision robots and systems for wafer handling. This role offers technical growth and opportunities for collaboration across engineering teams.

The candidate will develop safety programs, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with ISO 13849-1 and ISO 10218, while contributing to training and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine safety standards and industry guidelines (EN/IEC 60204-1, NFPA 79). SEMI S2 experience preferred.
• Experience using ISO 1210 risk assessment methodologies; SEMI S10 experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering; Associate degree with equivalent experience acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and monitor product safety programs and policies for Brooks semiconductor products (including vacuum and atmospheric robots, vacuum cluster tools, EFEMs).
• Ensure compliance with government, customer-focused, and industry health and safety laws and guidelines throughout the product lifecycle.
