Job summary

Element Electronics is seeking a Senior Product Regulatory Specialist to ensure our consumer electronics and appliances comply with federal, state, and regional regulations across North America. You will research requirements, develop regulatory strategies, and coordinate with engineering, product management, and legal teams to achieve compliant product portfolios.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data management, and staying abreast of evolving product laws to minimize delays

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a regulatory/compliance role within consumer electronics or appliances.
• 5+ years reviewing advertising and promotional materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience with product specifications, lifecycle management and ERP.
• Proficiency with product data management tools and ERP systems.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of products, packaging, and company websites with North American regulations.
• Research, interpret, and navigate complex regulatory requirements for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory strategies.
• Identify gaps in compliance procedures and develop corrective actions.
• Lead strategic regulatory initiatives with project management and change control.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, product management, engineering and legal teams for company-wide compliance.
• Educate internal teams on regulatory obligations and best practices.
