Element TV Company, LP in the United States seeks a Senior Product Regulatory Specialist to ensure consumer electronics, appliances, and related products comply with federal, state, and regional regulations across North America. You will lead regulatory strategies with cross-functional teams and oversee data collection and record-keeping.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or closely-related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in consumer electronics/appliance industry or at a third-party consultant/testing lab.
• 5+ years of experience in reviewing advertising and promotional materials.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and product data management tools.
• Experience with product compliance software.
• Strong written and verbal communications; ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance of products, packaging, and websites with North American regulations.
• Research, interpret, and navigate complex product regulations for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory strategies.
• Identify gaps in compliance procedures and develop corrective actions.
• Drive strategic regulatory initiatives and project management.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure company-wide compliance.
• Educate internal stakeholders on regulatory obligations and best practices.
• Review products to ensure they meet applicable regulations.
• Stay updated on federal and state product laws to minimize delays.
• Develop SOPs for cross-functional teams.
• Track supplier product testing and maintain records.
• Develop tools to speed up product evaluations.
• Share information regarding product regulation with internal teams.
