Job summary

Electrolux Group North America is seeking a senior regulatory and chemical compliance professional based in Charlotte, NC. You will manage chemical compliance across product lines, develop compliance processes, and partner with engineering, purchasing, and legal teams to provide technical support.

Responsibilities include leading regulatory activities, maintaining the RML, and coordinating with AHAM and cross-functional teams to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years appliance product design related experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• Proven track record of setting and achieving KPIs.
• Strong ability to work within time constraints and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Move the organization in a proactive direction for regulatory and compliance documents.
• Ensure compliance documents satisfy federal, state, and local requirements.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance controls and procedures.
• Participate on AHAM Steering Committee and act as NA subject matter expert for Chemical Compliance.
• Coordinate legislative updates and provide input to committees and leadership.
• Collect data on chemical usage for AHAM information requests and updates.
• Establish the North America chemical compliance program and manage supplier inputs.
• Maintain North American input for the Electrolux Restricted Material List (RML).
• Evaluate components in supply chain for chemical compliance and sustainability.
• Work with department managers to ensure adherence to goals using sound management principles.
• Develop a strong team spirit within Product Safety, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Resolve potential Chemical Compliance issues and integrate program at CFT meetings.
• Provide input to EPM and Check Point meetings and develop departmental policies.
