Job summary

Pearson Higher Education is seeking a Lead Specialist to own a product program and its outcomes. You will manage the roadmap, dependencies, risks, and delivery across Product, Engineering, UX, Content, and Go-to-Market, coordinating with multiple teams to meet quarterly OKRs.

This senior individual contributor role requires hands-on delivery and an ability to see how your program fits into the broader Pearson Higher Education portfolio and strategy, driving results and improvements across global

Qualifications

10+ years of program or technical program management experience in a technology, product, or software organization.
Technical understanding and strong engineering collaboration.
Experience owning program roadmaps, delivery schedules, and cross-team dependencies.
Experience in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with strong planning.
Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
Comfort using delivery data to define success criteria and drive decisions.
Strong written communication and facilitation.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end program plan across product, engineering, UX, content, and go-to-market, and the OKRs it delivers each quarter.
Own prioritization tradeoffs with Product and Engineering leads.
Drive delivery schedules and launch readiness across multiple teams, including globally-distributed teams.
Surface dependency risk early, before it blocks another team, and provide a recommended action.
Build strong relationships with Engineering, Product, UX, Content, Finance, and go-to-market partners across US and international teams.
