Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior Lead Specialist in Higher Education Product Program Management to own a program end to end, including roadmap, dependencies, risks, and delivery across Product, Engineering, UX, Content, and Go-to-Market.

You will work with global teams, drive quarterly OKRs, and be measured on outcomes you own and time to value. This senior IC role requires hands-on delivery, ability to frame problems, and the skill to influence leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in program or technical program management in a technology, product, or software organization.
• 5+ years leading complex, multi-team programs from planning through launch.
• Experience owning program roadmaps, delivery schedules, and cross-team dependencies across multiple product and engineering teams, including distributed teams in different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program plan across product, engineering, UX, content, and go-to-market.
• Manage OKRs and quarterly/annual planning with pre-reads and reviews.
• Drive prioritization tradeoffs with Product and Engineering leads.
• Coordinate globally distributed teams and anticipate bottlenecks before they reach the critical path.
• Surface dependency risk early and provide actionable recommendations.
• Maintain program documentation, charter, milestones, and status reporting.
