$94,900.00/yr - $130,500.00/yr

Role Overview

The Senior Product Owner maximizes the value of products created by the Agile team. They liaise with stakeholders and the development team to ensure the right product is built, in the right order, within budget, and by the deadline. They serve as the primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making for the Agile team. They influence departmental strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches, with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying the product vision and roadmap to the Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog. Their work involves analyzing situations or data that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate and drive the vision and strategy effectively to stakeholders and team members.
• Assist in clarifying and aligning with business strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Use data-driven approaches to anticipate and solve complex issues, developing and tracking OKRs.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the agile process, team, and product, and recommend them to leadership.
• Manage risks associated with business activities in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a product owner within the Scrum process, ensuring backlog readiness and visibility.
• Articulate the value of product improvements when designing solutions with development and UX teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Health Cloud
• Salesforce Admin Certification
• Strong user experience intuition and ability to create user-friendly solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills
• Emotional intelligence and adaptability
• Organizational skills for handling multiple details and shifting between strategic and tactical work
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and ability to travel 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in training end users
• Strategic and operational experience
• Performance orientation in sales and metrics
• Experience in healthcare or insurance settings
• Experience with Genesys and Mulesoft

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required.

Additional Details

Scheduled weekly hours: 40

Pay range: $94,900 - $130,500 annually, with potential bonuses based on performance.
