Base pay range

$94,900.00/yr - $130,500.00/yr

The Senior Product Owner maximizes the value of products created by the Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team to ensure the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget, and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Begins to influence department strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, with considerable latitude in objectives and approaches.

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog. The work involves moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variables.

  • Accountable for communicating and driving the vision and strategy effectively to key stakeholders and team members.
  • Responsible for working closely with the Lead to clarify and align on business strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Uses a data-driven approach to anticipate and solve complex issues, including developing and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in agile processes and products, making recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with policies.
  • Serves as a product owner within the Agile scrum process, ensuring visibility, prioritization, and backlog readiness.
  • Articulates the value of product improvements when designing solutions with development and UX teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud or Health Cloud experience
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Strong intuition about user experience and product design.
  • Ability to unpack complex problems and deliver simple, user-friendly solutions.
  • Clear, confident, and enthusiastic communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and flexibility in dynamic environments.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple details and switch between strategic and tactical work.
  • This role requires a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in training end users.
  • Progressive strategic and operational experience.
  • Performance orientation around sales and metrics.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or insurance settings.
  • Genesys and Mulesoft experience.

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at posting time. Actual pay may vary based on location and individual qualifications.

$94,900 - $130,500 per year.

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
