Base pay range

$94,900.00/yr - $130,500.00/yr

The Senior Product Owner maximizes the value of products created by an Agile team. Responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders and the development team to ensure the right product is built, in the right order, within budget, and on time. Acts as the primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making within the Agile team. Begins to influence department strategy and makes decisions on complex issues regarding technical approaches, with significant latitude in objectives and methods.

The role involves conveying product vision and roadmap to the Agile team by defining user stories and prioritizing the backlog. The work involves analyzing complex situations and data to make informed decisions.

• Communicate and drive the vision and strategy effectively to stakeholders and team members.
• Assist in clarifying and aligning with business strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Use data-driven approaches to anticipate and solve complex issues, including developing and tracking OKRs.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in team, process, and product, and recommend enhancements to leadership.
• Manage risks associated with business activities in accordance with policies.
• Serve as a product owner in the Agile Scrum process, ensuring backlog readiness and visibility.
• Articulate the value of product improvements when designing solutions with development and UX teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Health Cloud
• Salesforce Admin Certification
• Strong understanding of user experience principles
• Ability to unpack complex problems and develop simple, user-friendly solutions
• Effective communication skills
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills
• Emotional intelligence and adaptability in dynamic environments
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and switch between strategic and tactical work
• Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance (minimum limits: 100,000/300,000/100,000)
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience training end users
• Strategic and operational experience in healthcare or insurance settings
• Experience with Genesys and Mulesoft

Note: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required.
