Base pay range

$94,900.00/yr - $130,500.00/yr

The Senior Product Owner maximizes the value of products created by an Agile team. Responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders and the development team to ensure the right product is built, in the right order, within budget, and by the deadline. Serves as the primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making within the Agile team. Begins to influence department strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches, often working independently and exercising significant latitude in determining objectives and approaches.

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying the product vision and roadmap to the Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog. Work involves analyzing situations or data requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors.

• Communicates and drives the vision and strategy effectively to stakeholders and team members.
• Works closely with leadership to clarify and align on business strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Uses a data-driven approach to anticipate and solve complex issues, including developing and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to drive product success.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in the team, processes, and product, and makes recommendations to leadership.
• Ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to policies.
• Serves as a product owner within the Agile Scrum process, ensuring backlog readiness and visibility.
• Articulates the value of product improvements when designing solutions in partnership with development and UX teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Health Cloud
• Salesforce Admin Certification
• Strong understanding of user experience and what makes a product great
• Ability to unpack complex problems and deliver simple, user-friendly solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills
• High emotional intelligence and flexibility in dynamic environments
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple details and switch between strategic and tactical work
• Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance (minimum 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits)
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in training end users
• Progressive strategic and operational experience
• Performance-oriented with sales goals and metrics
• Experience in healthcare and/or insurance settings
• Genesys and Mulesoft experience

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The estimated starting salary range for full-time employment is $94,900 - $130,500 per year, based on skills, experience, and location. The role is eligible for a bonus based on performance.
