Job summary

Sammons Financial Group is seeking a Senior Product Owner for Illustrations to lead and deliver Life Insurance Illustration capabilities, including POS and Inforce Illustration software. You will translate strategy into actionable priorities while partnering with tech, ops, sales, and product teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in product ownership within Agile environments, with experience in Life Insurance Illustration tools and scaled Agile practices, and a design-to-market mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a product ownership role within an Agile software development environment.
• Bachelor degree preferred in Information Systems/Business Admin or related field.
• Financial services knowledge preferred.
• Experience translating business needs into strategy and actionable tasks for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Make case design and quoting easier across multiple platforms.
• Support the launch of multiple life insurance products each year.
• Translate our Life Division vision into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Partner across technology, operations, sales, and product teams.
• Refine features, write stories, test solutions, troubleshoot issues, and help bring functionality all the way to market.
• Build a team culture where collaboration, ideas, and every voice matter.
