Job summary

National Life Group in Montpelier, VT seeks a role within its Life & Annuity Solutions team to design, implement, and manage life and annuity illustration systems. The position focuses on testing, requirements gathering, and issue resolution to ensure accuracy and reliability.

You will work with Senior Illustration Systems Analysts and cross-functional stakeholders, balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment while advancing product quality and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine detailed test strategies, build test cases, create traceability matrices, and define expected results in collaboration with the team.
• Execute test cases as part of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identifying and documenting defects to support system accuracy.
• Monitor and manage system defects and enhancements utilizing issue tracking tools, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Support the development of business requirements for User Interface (UI), System Integrations, NAIC-compliant illustrations, and other projects by gathering information and assisting senior analysts in documentation.
• Contribute to improving the illustration testing processes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues with illustration systems, escalating more complex challenges to senior team members as needed.
• Aid in generating new issue and inforce illustrations for products and policies with characteristics not currently supported by existing systems.
• Track system performance, analyze functional metrics, and assist in developing reports that support operational insights and issue resolution.
• Support system integrations by assisting with the analysis of interface behavior, data exchanges, and functional issues while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
