Job description

Exterro is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager with expertise in digital forensics to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role you will be focused on enabling sales to drive revenue and market adoption of our digital forensics solution as part of the Exterro Data Risk Management software platform.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our digital forensics solution, including content creation, communication, and demand generation; and execute it globally.
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning for our products and platform, targeting key verticals and personas.
  • Build customer-facing and internal content and deliverables specific to product capabilities that supports both sales enablement and demand generation.
  • Develop topics for outbound marketing such as webinars, joint partner events, etc. and work with the appropriate marketing team members to best execute. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, engineering and customer success to drive product adoption and retention.
  • Become the expert on our target buyers, their purchasing behaviors, their key buying criteria, their information sources and their overall approach towards digital forensics and managing data risk.
  • Understand the competitive landscape-become an expert on our competition, their positioning, and their GTM approaches to digital forensics.
  • Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works, establishing our authority in digital forensics and managing data risk.
  • Support and train our sales channels, including the business development team and various partners on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and guide their appropriate usage.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs, content and messaging that support your products, , and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Produce high-quality marketing content that correctly addresses prospects' data risk concerns and highlights the benefits of our product offerings.

Key Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the digital forensics market and / or the SaaS industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing tactics, with a proven track record in crafting compelling messaging and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience supporting a global workforce.
  • Experience working in a data driven environment, with the ability to track and interpret marketing performance metrics.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-first attitude, a focus on quality,.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in enterprise software or B2B technology.
  • Experience with digital forensics technologies or industry.
  • Professional certifications in Marketing, Digital Forensics, or Data Risk.

This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Flexibility and adaptability are crucial, as the successful candidate will need to adjust to the needs of the global business.

As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base salary range for this remote position is $120,000-$150,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Exterro is a total compensation company, and this role may be eligible for variable pay, equity, bonus and / or other forms of compensation as part of the package. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, flexible paid time off and more.
