Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the payroll technology strategy, including Workday Payroll roadmap and custom extensions. You will align user needs with enterprise goals, drive cross-functional execution, and mature pay practices across the HR/payroll landscape.

Successful candidates will design end-to-end solutions, coach junior team members, and relentlessly improve value delivery in a large-scale software environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday or other large-scale HRIS systems.
• Experience as a Product Manager in a modern enterprise software environment.
• Experience with XP practices including paired programming, TDD, and continuous deployment.
• Proven ability to create actionable product roadmaps and clear PRDs.
• Strong communication across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize backlogs to maximize value and drive delivery.
• Proficient in discovery, user research and testing in HR/payroll contexts.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic roadmap for Workday Payroll and related payroll applications.
• Lead end-to-end product design across a complex HR/payroll landscape.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and finance to deliver value.
• Mature pay practices, close functional gaps, and streamline workflows.
• Balance user needs with business goals like efficiency and associate satisfaction.
• Guide junior team members and participate in talent development.
