As Senior Product Manager - Tech on the Amazon Business Selection team you will have a high impact opportunity to drive the curated shopping experiences for Amazon Business customers. This includes both improving the customer experience as well as enabling us to reach our business objectives. You will be the voice of Business customers representing their needs to provide sharply priced and curated selection for Amazon Business. As a product leader, you will develop and build tools for the long-term. The ideal candidate is an experienced tech leader with a strong background in analytics and a proven track record in achieving business impact through collaborating across the organization while leveraging data to get buy-in for new ideas. This is a highly visible position; you will interact with senior management teams within Amazon Business and Consumer orgs.


Key job responsibilities

* Engage with Customers, Sales, Marketing, and User Research to conduct in-depth research to understand needs of business customers, while identifying and incorporating disruptive capabilities
* Build and drive a multi-year catalogs vision and roadmap.
* Direct, create, and execute product plans to deliver new features, adoption programs, customer surveys, partner engagements.
* Collaborate with partner teams and technical managers to move from vision to delivery, by launching a steady stream of feature improvements and new products.
* Engage with our global teams to enable the launch of new regions and marketplaces.
* Model the financial impact of the solution and work with finance to create and manage the P&L.


About the team
Amazon Business (AB) Selection team focus on delivering customers their desired selection in the right fit, form, and function. We are a team of builders who own AB Selection Strategy, Products, and Programs to deliver results for customers and support AB's most critical initiatives. We focus first on execution and building robust processes that inform product and features as we rapidly scale to AB's goals

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
