OpenKrill is seeking a product leader to own the roadmap for customer‑facing AI features and drive onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement. You will build tools for daily financial workflows and set integration strategies with accounting, payments, payroll, and business software.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in fintech product management, strong data‑driven decision making, and experience with experimentation and cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, design, risk, and GTM

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in fintech or data‑driven products.
• Familiarity with discovery channels including SEO, AEO and LLM‑driven search.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or relevant analytical background preferred.
• Experience using experimentation and metrics to inform product decisions; cross‑discipline collaboration.

• Run experiments across onboarding, activation, adoption and retention; use metrics to scale improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Compliance and GTM teams to deliver products.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a product team building a financial platform for small businesses. You will lead customer-facing experiences across onboarding, business workflows, integrations, and AI, helping customers manage everyday financial work more easily.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the roadmap for customer-facing AI features, applying automation and LLM-driven workflows to customer needs while balancing usefulness, accuracy, privacy, and risk.
• Improve the customer journey from signup through activation and ongoing engagement.
• Build business tools for invoicing, workflow automation, reminders, reconciliation, and other daily financial operations.
• Set strategy for partner integrations and APIs across accounting, payments, payroll, and business software.
• Run experiments across onboarding, activation, adoption, and retention, using metrics to guide decisions and scale successful improvements.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Compliance, and go-to-market teams to deliver products.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5 or more years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, small-business financial products, or another data-driven product environment.
• Familiarity with modern discovery channels, including SEO, AEO and LLM-driven search, organic, affiliate, and content.
• A bachelor's degree; an advanced degree or relevant analytical or technical background is preferred.
• Experience using experimentation and metrics to inform product decisions, and comfort collaborating across disciplines.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $160,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid in New York City, with 2 to 3 days onsite each week.
