Job summary

Wwshemi in New York City is building fintech banking products for small businesses. You will own a major product area across payments, account services, platform reliability, and customer security, helping make complex financial services simple and trustworthy.

You will partner with Engineering, Design and Legal to define requirements, measure success, and ship secure features that customers rely on for deposits, transfers, and card transactions.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of product management experience, including Senior Product Manager scope.
• Strong experience with non-card payments and money movement (ACH, wires, real-time rails).
• Understanding of payment-rail selection and ACH return reasons.
• Proven track record building banking products with backend teams and tooling.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap and delivery for core banking products including deposit accounts and money movement.
• Improve end-to-end experiences for account opening, funding, deposits, ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay and card transactions.
• Partner with Engineering on ledger, payment rails and card systems supporting customer flows.
• Use customer research and product data to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Write clear product specifications, define success metrics and ship secure features with Engineering and Design.
• Build risk, fraud, security and regulatory requirements into product development with Risk, Compliance and Legal teams.
• Manage integrations and relationships with banking partners and third-party vendors.
• Track activation, engagement, retention and multi-product adoption.
• Monitor reliability and overall product health to inform ongoing improvements.

What You'll Do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for core banking products, including deposit accounts, money movement, cards, and supporting infrastructure.
• Improve end-to-end experiences for account opening, funding, deposits, ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay, and card transactions.
• Partner with Engineering on the ledger, payment rails, and card systems that support customer-facing flows.
• Use customer research and cohort-based product data to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Write clear product specifications, define success metrics, and ship reliable, secure features with Engineering and Design.
• Build risk, fraud, security, and regulatory requirements into product development with Risk, Compliance, and Legal partners.
• Manage integrations and product relationships with banking partners and third-party vendors.
• Track activation, engagement, retention, multi-product adoption, and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• Five to fifteen years of relevant product management experience, including experience at Senior Product Manager scope.
• Strong experience with non-card payments and money movement, such as ACH, wire transfers, and real-time payment rails.
• Understanding of payment-rail selection and common ACH return reasons.
• Demonstrated experience building banking products and working with backend developers and agentic tooling.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and external partners.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $160,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Hybrid position based in New York City, New York, with 2 to 3 days onsite each week.
