Job summary

Wyze is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Smart Home Hardware to lead development of sensors, lighting, power products and lifestyle devices. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from customer insight to market launch, delivering affordable, reliable hardware that strengthens the Wyze ecosystem.

You will partner with hardware, firmware, software, design, ODMs, marketing, and finance to define requirements, prioritize trade-offs, and ship at scale.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, CS, Business, or related field, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of product management experience in consumer hardware/IoT.
• Strong product sense and customer empathy; translate problems into successful products.
• Experience with cross-functional hardware programs from concept to launch.
• Experience with external manufacturing or ODM partners.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; align diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills; data-driven decisions and experimentation.
• Curiosity for and experience using AI tools to accelerate product research and execution.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Mandarin proficiency for communication with partners and ODMs in China.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for smart home hardware portfolio.
• Translate goals into PRDs and user stories with prioritization and trade-offs.
• Lead cross-functional development across hardware, firmware, software, and ODMs.
• Define specifications, review design proposals, assess feasibility, manage cost and BOM.
• Collaborate with design and UX to integrate with Wyze App and ecosystem.
• Partner on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market plans and forecasting.
• Define success metrics and use data to drive iteration and improvements.
• Conduct customer and market research to understand user needs and opportunities.
• Drive cross-team decision-making and keep stakeholders aligned on scope and priorities.
• Champion the voice of the customer in all product decisions.
