Job summary

SafelyYou is seeking a senior hardware product manager to drive the next generation of sensing and response devices for senior living. You will own the hardware roadmap, build cross-functional buy-in, and shape life-safety compliant products from concept through launch.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and vendor teams to ensure robust, scalable hardware and edge AI solutions that meet market needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Taken connected hardware from concept through NPI to mass production.
• 6+ years of product management experience with hardware focus.
• Strong business modeling for BOM, margin, ROI/IRR.
• Experience partnering with contract manufacturers through NPI and ramp.
• Delivery of both off-the-shelf integrated and custom hardware.
• Life-safety or regulated devices experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware product strategy for next-gen sensing and response hardware.
• Define stage-gate readiness criteria across customer, regulatory, and supply chain.
• Develop business cases including BOM, capital cost, margin, and IRR.
• Translate cross-team needs into hardware and edge-compute specs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Support, and Lifecycle teams.
