Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Consumer Electronics Product Development to lead the strategy, hardware development, and commercialization of innovative consumer home entertainment products. This role owns the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and optimization, driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, merchandising, sourcing, supply chain, and brand teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field with 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
• Alternatively, 6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
• Project management experience and cross-functional leadership in consumer electronics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development initiatives by managing communications with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Oversee product lifecycle management, including specification development, quality assurance, and issue resolution through root cause analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support sourcing activities, validate documentation, and ensure compliance with business strategies.
• Drive product strategy by conducting market research, benchmarking trends, and recommending enhancements to meet customer needs and financial goals.
• Manage multiple business plans and projects, removing obstacles and adjusting performance to achieve objectives.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative work environment.
