Job description

Does your current company inspire you to build, grow, and innovate? Is your passion for making lasting and meaningful change being realized?

The tremendous growth in our business and increasing demand for our services means we are expanding our team in exciting ways. We have the heart of a startup and the backing of an industry leader. This means a unique career opportunity for low-ego professionals looking for a people-first, culture rich work family with which to change the world.

Centro is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our integrations product line end to end — the API and data connections that link brokers, carriers, CRM platforms, and benefits administration systems. You will set the integrations roadmap, own the backlog, and make the build, buy, and partner decisions that determine how Centro connects to the rest of the benefits ecosystem.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Own the integrations product line end to end: strategy, roadmap, prioritization, backlog, and execution
  • Lead the CRM and benefits administration integration portfolio from discovery through launch and ongoing enhancement.
  • Shape where AI fits in the integrations roadmap: identify the use cases worth pursuing, define accuracy and quality targets before anything is built, and determine how much human review each use case needs.
  • Write requirements engineers can build from: data contracts and field-level mappings, error and retry behavior, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as Centro's product-side counterpart to integration partners during scoping, technical design review, and onboarding.
  • Instrument what you ship. Define and report on integration reliability, data accuracy, straight-through processing rate, and adoption. Then act on what the numbers show.
  • Deliver measurable operational and business outcomes: less manual handling, faster onboarding for each new integration, and higher data accuracy.
  • Make integration decisions with compliance and security in view: PII and PHI handling, data minimization, auditability, and the constraints that apply to any automated processing of sensitive benefits data.
  • Act as the internal authority on integrations, the person sales, service, and leadership come to for a straight answer.
Qualifications, Skills And Requirements
  • 7+ years in product management, including 4+ years owning API-first, platform, or integration products. This role owns a roadmap, not just a delivery schedule. We are looking for candidates who have set direction, not only executed someone else's.
  • Insurance, benefits, or healthtech experience, with working knowledge of carrier, broker, or benefits administration workflows. Ancillary employee benefits lines are a strong plus.
  • Fluency with CRM and benefits administration ecosystems and how data moves between them in practice.
  • Real technical depth: you can read API documentation, reason about JSON and XML payloads and data schemas, hold your own in an engineering design review, and write a field-level data mapping spec yourself.
  • Demonstrated track record with data mapping, integration testing, and release readiness on integrations involving external parties.
  • Comfortable being the product-facing voice with external partners
  • Analytical and outcome-driven: you set a baseline, define the metric, and hold yourself to it.
  • Preferred: experience shipping AI-powered features in production, defining accuracy criteria and evals and designing human-in-the-loop review.
  • Preferred: familiarity with compliance and security requirements for benefits data.
Education, Training And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience. Field of study matters less to us than a demonstrated record of owning technical or integration products.
  • Product management, technical, or AI product certifications are welcome but not required.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $145,000 to $165,000 per year.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
