Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense seeks a technical spokesperson for the Radiation product line to translate customer needs into market-ready solutions. You will guide development, define product roadmaps, and drive market adoption across domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities include leading phase-gate processes, pricing strategies, and coordinating cross-functional teams with sales, engineering, and management to ensure successful launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and advanced degrees in Science or Engineering preferred.
• Strong background in Radiation Physics or similar.
• 5+ years in product development or marketing of radiation sensors.
• 3–5+ years in product launches.
• CBRNE or Nuclear Safety market experience required.
• Demonstrated experience in development, sales, or marketing of technical products.
• Proven capability to champion a product from development to launch.
• Highly energetic, proactive with leadership and vision.
• Strong communication with customers, teams and management.
• Proficient with Excel and Project tools.
• Travel 25–50% required.
• Must have SECRET clearance or ability to obtain it.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible for export control licenses.

Responsibilities

• Define radiation markets and develop market strategies and product positions.
• Define Product Roadmap and prioritize R&D expenditures to align with strategy.
• Oversee product development, releases, and market adoption for FLIR Detection Radiation products.
• Support sales efforts and provide lifecycle management for products.
• Train sales teams and distributors; assist with technical writing and manuals.
• Prepare weekly status dashboards and participate in quarterly reviews.
