Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a versatile Software Engineer to develop user-friendly applications across embedded, desktop, web, and mobile platforms. You’ll work with firmware, hardware, systems, and cross-functional teams to deliver software for radiation detection instruments and cloud-connected solutions.

US citizenship is required; a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE/SE and 3+ years in software development are expected.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required for program work.
3+ years of software development across desktop, web, mobile or embedded systems.
Experience with .NET/C# and C++, plus JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong UI/UX focus and ability to interface with hardware.
Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and testing.
Experience with Git, Agile, CI/CD, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance desktop, embedded, web, and mobile apps.
Integrate with radiation detection instruments and hardware interfaces.
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Write clean, secure, well-documented code and automated tests.
Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to technical reviews.
