JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager (QSR) for a 6M C2H opportunity that is 100% remote-based. The Product Manager (QSR) will lead roadmap, enhancements, and implementation of NextGen QSR Systems (POS / KDS / Payment) across the brands. The Product Manager (QSR) will deliver seamless, innovative, and efficient in-store experience for team members and guests. The Product Manager (QSR) must possess experience leading end-to-end execution of large-scale POS system initiatives.
  • Define / Communicate Clear Roadmap for POS Alignment with the Overall Strategy
  • Lead Full Lifecycle Product Management (POS / KDS / Payment Systems) - Planning / Execution / Budgeting / Tracking Milestones, etc.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders / Technology Stakeholders / POS Vendors - Ensuring Successful Integration / Deployment
  • Serve as Primary Liason with POS Vendor Teams - Product Planning / Execution
  • Facilitate Menu Structure / Data Management Processes with Stakeholders - Menu Ops / Technology, etc.
  • Author User Stories - Refining with Development Leads / Driving Backlog Prioritization
  • Define / Manage Integration POS Data with External Systems - Menu / Store Info / Order Management
  • Drive SLA / SLO Requirements / Observatory Standards for Systems Integrations
  • Champion Seamless / Intuitive UX for Employees / Customers
  • Manage Vendor Relationships / Deliverables / Contractual Compliance
  • Coordinate Teams / Resource Allocation / Delivery Standards with Vendor Management
  • Manage Technical Integration Definition - Allowing Efficient Data Access (Stored / Managed in the POS by External Systems) / Integration for External Systems Access (Order Management / Menu / Store Info) / Coordination Across Workstreams (Holistic Business Approach)

  • Senior Product Manager - QSR (Quick-Service Restaurant) / POS (Point-of-Sale) / KDR (Kitchen Display System) / Payment Systems | Direct Management of Large-Scale POS Systems / Leading the Replacement/Implementation of Cloud-based POS System within the QSR Industry
  • End-to-End Product Management (POS / KDS / Payment Systems) - Planning / Execution / Monitoring of Timelines / Estimates / Budgets / Milestones
  • Cloud-Based POS Systems / SaaS Solutions - Qu POS (strongly preferred) / Toast POS / Square for Restaurants / Revel / Clover POS / Lightspeed Restaurant
  • POS Integration Patterns - Integrations with Back Office / Reporting
