JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager (QSR) for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity that is 100% remote. The Product Manager (QSR) will lead the roadmap, enhancements, and implementation of NextGen QSR Systems (POS / KDS / Payment) across the brands. The role involves delivering a seamless, innovative, and efficient in-store experience for team members and guests, with a focus on end-to-end execution of large-scale POS system initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

1. Define and communicate a clear roadmap for POS alignment with overall strategy.
2. Lead full lifecycle product management of POS, KDS, and payment systems, including planning, execution, budgeting, and tracking milestones.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, and POS vendors to ensure successful integration and deployment.
4. Serve as the primary liaison with POS vendor teams for product planning and execution.
5. Facilitate menu structure and data management processes with stakeholders.
6. Author user stories, refine with development leads, and drive backlog prioritization.
7. Manage integration of POS data with external systems such as menu, store info, and order management.
8. Drive SLA/SLO requirements and observability standards for system integrations.
9. Champion seamless and intuitive UX for employees and customers.
10. Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, and contractual compliance.
11. Coordinate teams, resource allocation, and delivery standards with vendor management.
12. Define technical integration requirements for efficient data access and system coordination across workstreams.

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a Senior Product Manager in QSR, POS, KDS, or payment systems, with direct management of large-scale POS system implementations, preferably cloud-based.
• End-to-end product management experience including planning, execution, monitoring timelines, estimates, budgets, and milestones.
• Familiarity with cloud-based POS solutions such as Qu POS (preferred), Toast POS, Square for Restaurants, Revel, Clover POS, Lightspeed Restaurant.
• Knowledge of POS integration patterns with back-office and reporting systems.
• Strong project management skills for delivering complex technology initiatives on time and within budget.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including authoring user stories, creating roadmaps, and collaborating with operations teams.
